Asaf Zamir is an Israeli politician who was born on March 18, 1976, in Netanya, Israel. He is a member of the Blue and White party and served as a member of the Knesset (Israeli parliament) from 2020 to 2021.
Zamir studied law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and worked as a lawyer before entering politics. He was a member of the Likud party before joining the Blue and White alliance.
During his time in the Knesset, Zamir served on the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee and the Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee. He has been an advocate for national security and social issues in Israel.
Zamir is known for his moderate and pragmatic approach to politics and is considered a rising star in Israeli politics. However, he announced in 2021 that he would not seek re-election to the Knesset.
